Asuncion, Paraguay

I will be serving my mission in the Paraguay Asuncion Mission for 24 months. I don't know much about Paraguay, but there is some things I have come to learn through research.

Languages in Paraguay: Spanish, Guarani (ancient indian dialect)
Currency: Guarani
Independence Day: May 15th, 1811
Paraguay is one of two landlocked countries in South America (other is Bolivia)
Paraguay is the poorest country in South America

There are two missions in Paraguay: the Asuncion and Asuncion North.
The is an LDS Temple in the capital city Asuncion and there are no plans to build another temple.
